Exposed for Antisemitism and Disturbing Online Activity

Kahllid Al-Alim, a failed frontrunner for a powerful seat on the Los Angeles Unified School District board, has been caught spreading antisemitic hatred online while also engaging with violent and pornographic content. Shockingly, Al-Alim initially had the backing of United Teachers Los Angeles and the L.A. County Federation of Labor.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Al-Alim, 56, admitted to “most or all” of the vile social media posts and likes. He did not claim they were fabricated or the result of a hack—he owned them. His attempt at damage control included a hollow apology and an admission that he had also “liked” pornographic and gun-related material.

This is a man who was endorsed to oversee the education of Los Angeles children. While Al-Alim insisted he has “spent his life fighting antisemitism” and called his actions “inappropriate,” his record online tells a far darker story.

United Teachers Los Angeles was ultimately forced to rescind its endorsement, condemning Al-Alim after his antisemitic and obscene online activity came to light. The reversal was a humiliating blow for the candidate and his union backers, cementing his downfall and sending a clear message: there is no place for hate, hypocrisy, or moral corruption in Los Angeles schools.
